Islamabad, 28 February 2023 (TDI): The Smart Future Technologies (SFT) team visited the Huawei Office in Islamabad to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two companies, on Tuesday.
The team was led by the Head of Smart Technologies FHDL, Brigadier Arshad Kayani. Smart Future Technologies and Huawei Pakistan have decided to collaborate to develop innovative Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure solutions.
The collaboration will be a game changer for Pakistan’s real estate industry. Both the SFT and Huawei teams are looking forward to working on key projects together in the future.
The special focus is placed on the Smart Community projects in Pakistan, where SFT Pakistan is the developer and Huawei is the lead technology Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
Additionally, they will collaborate on Smart Destination development throughout the architectural planning and construction execution phases by leveraging key technologies.
The technologies include Cloud Computing, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Data Center Networks, Storage & Servers, Data Center Facilities, Intelligent Security Surveillance Systems, and Solar Energy, among others.

Furthermore, both companies will collaborate closely on the latest updates and developments in smart technologies.
Notably, SFT is a joint venture between Habib Rafique Group Private Limited (HRL Group) and Future Development Holdings (FDH) for Smart City projects such as Capital Smart City and Lahore Smart City.
The systems deployed in “Smart Cities” connect people, things, and processes to eventually allow habitats to ensure quality living.
