New York, 26 September 2021 (TDI): Bogdan Aurescu, the Romanian Foreign Minister met with Bui Thanh Son, the Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The two Foreign Ministers discussed the bilateral relations. Their discussion revolved around the mutual areas of concern. Romania emphasized its devotion to helping Vietnam in its fight against novel coronavirus.
Both countries showed interest in expanding the cooperation in all the fields including trade, education as well as in public diplomacy. They also agreed to endorse the political dialogue between the two states.
