New York, 24 September 2021 (TDI): In the joint ministerial meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) of the Foreign Ministers, the State of Qatar partook with Antony Blinken, State Secretary of America on Thursday.
The ministerial meeting took place on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani spoke on behalf of Qatar.
The meeting included discussions on close cooperation for mutual benefits. All the Gulf partners were praised by the State Secretary of the US for their support for Afghanistan. The ministers reviewed their ties and discussed various issues of common interest.
