Qatar attends GCC meeting

Kuwait, 13 August 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, the State of Qatar participated in the Gulf Cooperation Council’s coordination meeting on Human Rights. At the meeting, Qatar was represented by Dr. Turki bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of the Department of Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting was moderated by Chief of Human Rights Affairs, Dr. Arwa Hassan Ali. Other member states that attended the coordination meeting included Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and Oman.

During the gathering, topics such as regional coordination, cooperation, and implementation of joint efforts were discussed.
