ISLAMABAD, (TDI): Qatar Airways has refuted media reports suggesting that the airline has shut down its offices and call centers in Pakistan. The airline confirmed that its flights and offices across the country are operating as usual.
The clarification came after unverified claims circulated in local media, alleging that the airline had closed its offices in Pakistan as part of a cost-cutting strategy. The reports suggested that while flight operations would remain unaffected, the closures would impact sales, administration, and finance operations.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Qatar Airways addressed the misinformation, stating:
“Qatar Airways flights to and from Pakistan are operating as usual, and our offices remain open. Recent reports about closures are incorrect.”
