Lisbon, 2 October 2021 (TDI): Pedro Sanchez, the Prime Minister of Spain met with Antonio Costa, the Prime Minister of Portugal.
The two counterparts discussed their shared agenda based on European Union. They emphasized enhancing the bilateral relations and further talked about the bilateral summit to be held on October 28, in Trujillo, Caceres.

They also discussed the possible opportunities which can strengthen their relations. The two counterparts agreed on intensifying the cooperation between economic fields by expanding partnerships in industrial projects. The global fight against climate change was also part of their discussion.
Both countries have been corroborating each other in the hour of need. They are grappling with climate change, chalking out a common strategy for Cross Border Development and pledged to cooperate in the very domain in the foreseeable future
