Kabul, 2 October 2021 (TDI): Embassy of Pakistan in Afghanistan, is in the process of registering Afghan Alumni of Pakistan’s Academic Institutions.
For many years, Afghan students have availed themselves of educational facilities in Pakistan. It has enhanced the people-to-people linkage between Islamabad and Kabul. In recent years, the scholarships have notably raised the number of Afghan Alumni of Pakistani Institutions. They have made a great contribution to the Afghan government, business, culture, and civil society.
The socio-political and humanitarian crises that Afghanistan faces critically affect a fragile education system. A strong education system is a key to getting more children in school and helping them to become healthy and responsible citizens. The registration of Afghan Alumni will make a meaningful contribution to Afghan society in collaboration with the Embassy.
The reforms in the educational sector are important to bring stability to Afghanistan. Pakistan is playing an integral role not only to stabilize Afghanistan but also pave its way for development. Moreover, this initiative will strengthen the bilateral cooperation between two neighboring countries.
