Kabul, 2 October 2021 (TDI): The acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi held a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Afghanistan, Shadmanov Yadgarkhoja.
Both the leaders had a fruitful discussion on the current scenario of Afghanistan. The agenda of the meeting was to come up with ways to enhance the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Both leaders expressed their desire to work closely for peace and security.
Amir Khan Muttaqi also talked about the resumption of flights from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan. He assured that Afghanistan and its new government are ready to engage and cooperate with the international community. Both parties assured support and cooperation in matters of business, trade, and security.
