President Xi sent condolences to Algeria

Beijing, 17 August 2021 (TDI): Chinese President Xi Jinping extended his condolences to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, via a letter. The condolence letter was sent by Xi to solace the Algerian nation over the extremely deadly wildfires that took over the state last week.

In the letter, Xi on behalf of the Chinese nation and government offered heartfelt regrets and sympathy to the victims and the families of the deprived and the wounded.

According to the reports from the local authorities, approximately 90 people including 33 soldiers have lost their lives.
