FM Qatar meets Prime Minister of Jordan

Amman, 17 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman met with Prime Minister of Jordan, Dr. Bishr Al Khasawneh.

During the meeting, the officials discussed bilateral relations and levels of political and economical cooperation. Both officials reviewed the need for initiatives that can assist in maintaining the future sustainable goals in Jordan and Qatar. In addition, they emphasized participating in joint efforts to bring stability to the region and strengthening the regional dialogue. The discussions also touched on the situation in Syria, Iraq, Palestine, and Afghanistan.

The Foreign Minister of Qatar appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of the people as well as the government of Jordan. Both representatives expressed their desire to increase the opportunities and participation between Jordan and Qatar.
