President Alvi meets delegation of HCCI

Islamabad, 1 September 2021 (TDI): On Wednesday, the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi met the delegation of Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI).

During the meeting, President Alvi shared the steps that has been taken to improve and facilitate the country’s business environment. He further discussed that Pakistan’s business community has played an important role in developing and enhancing country’s economic sector.

Examining the financial difficulties of state, Government of Pakistan has provided the business community with package of 1.2 trillion Pakistani rupees. Moreover, according to the latest report of “World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business” index, Pakistan has improved its position from 136 to 108, said President Alvi.
