COAS Bajwa met Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces

Abu Dhabi, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Chief of Army Staff Pakistan, General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the meeting, the officials discussed about defense relations, bilateral ties, regional security matters and international developments. The two sides reviewed matters related to joint cooperation and coordination in areas of defense relations and military affairs between UAE and Pakistan.

During the meeting, following officials were also present:

  • Ali bin Hammad Al Shami, Deputy Secretary General of Supreme National Security Council
  • Sheikh Mohammad bin Hammad bin Tahnoon, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Airport Board of Directors
  • Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazrouei the Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.

Apart from economic and trade relation, military ties between Pakistan and UAE are useful over a long period of time. UAE has most advanced Arab military and developed defense sector, and Pakistan is playing its strategic role in this regard.
