Both sides exchanged views on prospects of resuming the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
Also, exchanged opinions on the full-scale implementation of the JCPOA plan. Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is a plan on settlement of the Iranian nuclear programme. Former US President, Donald Trump withdraw from JCPOA but now the Biden administration is re-evaluating this decision.
However, both parties also highlighted strategies for peace and stability in the Middle East.
Also, discussed a number of current issues related to bilateral relations.
Moreover, talking about the security agenda, both sides highlighted respective concerns about Afghanistan and how to deal with the possible Afghan crisis. Both sides reaffirmed to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Moscow and Washington.
