Washington, 20 September 2021 (TDI): Philippines Secretary of Foreign Affairs Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. visited the USA on Monday. The official visit marked the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between the U.S and the Philippines.
During his visit, Philippines Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. also met with the Administrator of the USAID program Samantha Power. He expressed his gratitude to the Administrator for the efforts of the USAID in the Philippines. Both the officials also exchanged views on the ongoing vaccination drive in the Philippines and the US.
With that, both officials discussed areas of mutual interest to broaden their cooperation including the climate crisis, the need for the US to diversify its renewable technology supply chain.
