Tehran (TDI): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed Tehran’s strong commitment to fully implement the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty with Russia during a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov and his delegation.
President Pezeshkian expressed satisfaction with the rapid expansion of bilateral cooperation, describing interactions between Iran and Russia as “excellent and growing.”
He highlighted prior meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that they had produced important strategic decisions benefiting the mutual interests of both countries and opening new avenues for Tehran-Moscow relations.
Referring to the strategic partnership treaty, signed in Moscow with President Putin in January last year, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran is determined to implement the agreement “with strength, speed, and precision.”

The treaty’s implementation is being actively pursued across multiple sectors, including transportation, energy, oil and gas, agriculture, food products, and defense and security cooperation.

The president also stated that he personally monitors the progress of the agreement on a weekly basis and has instructed relevant ministers to follow up on and accelerate the execution of all joint commitments.
