Kabul, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mansoor Ahmad Khan meets Afghan officials. This meeting was held to discuss the bilateral cooperation between Islamabad and Kabul
Ambassador Mansoor met Dr. Qalandar Ibad, Afghan Minister of Public Health. Both leaders discussed the difficulties being faced by the Afghan health sector due to the freezing of funds. They agreed that the international community must play an integral role to prevent the humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan. Both leaders affirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
Ambassador Mansoor also had a meeting with the Afghan Minister of Industries and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi. Both leaders discussed effective measures by both governments for resolving issues of trade. They also discussed innovative ideas to promote trade, transit, and economic exchange. It will strengthen the people-to-people linkage between Kabul and Islamabad.
