Rawalpindi (TDI): The Pakistan–Turkiye Joint Commando and Special Forces Exercise “Jinnah-XIII” concluded successfully in Turkiye on Thursday, with a focus on counterterrorism operations, according to the military’s media wing (ISPR).
The ISPR said that troops from the Pakistan Army trained alongside Turkish forces in Ankara and Isparta, taking part in a range of joint drills.
It added that the exercise achieved all its training and military cooperation objectives. Both sides demonstrated high levels of professionalism and operational readiness throughout the drills.
The main aim of the exercise was to improve tactics, techniques, and procedures related to counterterrorism. Special attention was given to urban warfare and countering improvised explosive devices (IEDs) through joint training activities.
The ISPR noted that the exercise helped further strengthen long-standing military relations between Pakistan and Turkiye, highlighting their shared commitment to counterterrorism cooperation.

In a related development, the Pakistan Navy also conducted a successful live firing of a locally developed ship-launched anti-ship missile.
According to the ISPR, the missile accurately hit its target at high speed and over a long range, demonstrating the Navy’s operational readiness and precision strike capability.
