Pakistan sends humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan

Kabul, 20 September 2021(TDI): Pakistan sends humanitarian supplies to Afghanistan through the Torkham border. It includes relief goods and food items.

Pakistan’s Consul General in Jalalabad, Abid Ullah received these relief goods from the Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum. Pakistan is the front-line state to provide relief assistance to Afghanistan. Pakistan had already provided Afghanistan with four C-130 loads of food and medicine.
From today, through land routes, Pakistan has started humanitarian assistance. It will be dispatched for distribution among Afghan people. This humanitarian assistance will be continued in the coming weeks. It is reflective of fraternal ties between Islamabad and Kabul.
