Riyadh, 13 February 2023 (TDI): A partnership agreement was signed between LearnOBots, a Pakistan-based educational technology startup, and Classera, an e-learning platform based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), on Monday.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the LEAP Tech Conference 2023. The Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Khurram Rathore was present during the ceremony.

The purpose of this joint venture is to deliver the most advanced tools for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education in Saudi and Pakistani schools.

LEAP Tech Conference 2023

The second edition of the global technology conference LEAP was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from the 6th to the 9th of February to address the future challenges of using technology.

It was the largest tech event in the world, with thousands of people have flocked to the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center to participate in discussions and witness world debuts in what would be one of many future tech events in the Kingdom.

The event was co-organized by Informa Tech, the KSA Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP).

Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, Ignite National Technology Fund, a public sector company with the Ministry of IT & Telecom, participated in this year’s LEAP Tech Conference with eight promising startups from its different National Incubation Centers (NICs).

Notably, LEAP was founded by Informa Tech, SAFCSP, and MCIT, and the first event was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 1–3 February 2022. The event noticed over 100,000 visitors in three days.

About 700 tech companies, 330 investors, and 500 CEOs and tech experts participated in LEAP 2022. The event tallied over $6.4 billion worth of initiatives and programs.

It also conducted “Rocket Fuel Start-up Competition” where a million dollars was awarded to promising start-ups. The event also hosted the world’s largest Kaleidoscope with a length of 40 meters.
