Pakistan participates in Tehran’s conference on Gaza

Tehran, 26 December 2023 (TDI): The Embassy of Pakistan in Iran, on Saturday participated in the International Consultative Conference on Palestine in Tehran. Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, leading the delegation, represented Pakistan along with other Pakistani diplomats.

The Embassy of Pakistan said that it was an honor to participate in Tehran International Conference on Palestine under the leadership of Senator Mushahid Hussain.

Tehran steered the Conference with enormous conviction and concern for helpless Palestinians in Gaza confronting unspeakable sufferings and horrors at the hands of Israel.

It further added that Tehran deserves kudos for hosting nearly 70 countries and bringing out an unequivocal message that the war in Gaza must end and international law must prevail.

Earlier the week during the weekly press briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Spokesperson Mumtaz Baloch, said that Pakistan will continue to support international efforts to bring an end to Israel’s ongoing campaign against the Palestinian people.

Following this she said, “Pakistan will, therefore, participate in the “consultative Conference on Palestine” scheduled to take place in Tehran.”

Furthermore, she once again reiterated Pakistan’s stance that the only just solution to the Palestinian question is the creation of an independent, viable, sovereign, and contiguous Palestinian State along pre-1967 borders with Al Quds Sharif as its capital.
