Islamabad, 21 April 2022 (TDI): During deployment on the Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP), Pakistan Navy Ship SHAMSHEER visited Port Mina Salman in Bahrain. The ship is patrolling in designated regions and helping to guarantee maritime security in the region through multilateral initiatives.

When the ship arrived at the port, it was received cordially by the Naval and Air Attaché of Pakistan, as well as the Senior National Representative of Pakistan, at Headquarters NAVCENT, Bahrain.
During the port visit, the Commanding Officer PNS SHAMSHEER visited the Commander Royal Bahrain Naval Forces, Commander Coast Guard Bahrain, and Commander Combined Maritime Forces.
During the discussions, common interests were reviewed, and ongoing strengthening of bilateral ties in all areas was confirmed.
The Commanding Officer of the Pak Navy Ship delivered Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi’s greetings to the officers and soldiers of the Bahrain Naval Forces.
During the port visit, various professional exchange and orientation trips were scheduled between PNS SHAMSHEER and Bahrain Defence Forces. Pakistan Navy is dedicated to maritime security and order at sea and believes in fostering peace and stability in the area.
PNS SHAMSHEER’s visit is anticipated to strengthen existing diplomatic and defense ties between the two countries.
Pakistan and Bahrain have long-standing ties based on shared religious, cultural, and social values. These bonds are founded on solidarity, fraternity, mutual trust, and assistance.
