Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday received Khalaf Khalafov, Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments.
During the meeting, Khalafov briefed the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on ongoing and upcoming initiatives under Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for Azerbaijan’s leadership role in CICA and its efforts to promote regional cooperation and mutual understanding.
The two sides also discussed opportunities to further enhance bilateral ties between the two countries, emphasizing their shared interests and longstanding fraternal relationship.
The meeting underscored the importance of continuous dialogue and collaboration in fostering stability and prosperity across the region.
