Islamabad (TDI): Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad, held a farewell gathering for the outgoing Country Director of the Norwegian Church Aid’s Pakistan Office, Anne Masterson.

Norwegian Church Aid is a faith-based nonprofit, involved in social and welfare work in Pakistan. It began working in Pakistan in 1982. Its initial mandate and goals were to provide assistance to Afghan refugees who were coming to Pakistan in large numbers.

However, in coming years, it also gave humanitarian assistance to those affected by the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. Bit by bit, the organization extended its agenda to working on long term development in Pakistan.
