Saudi Arabia, with its Ambassador, Nawaf Al-Maliki in Pakistan spearheading the agenda, is committed to such generous overtures to help the people in need.
Along these lines, the Kingdom has oft times donated food and ration as well, to the underprivileged segments of the society in Pakistan.
For example, in Ramadan this year, King Salman’s fast-breaking and date distribution programs, and the gift of the Qur’an from King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah were inaugurated.
Pakistan-KSA Ties
Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have maintained close bilateral ties ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two.
The two allies collaborate in the fields of economy, trade, and education. However, the military ties between the two are very strong.
Pakistan provides extensive support, arms as well as training for the Armed Forces of the KSA. In the same vein, Pakistani soldiers have been deployed in Saudi Arabia to protect the Kingdom since the 1970s.
Moreover, Pakistan has also been training Saudi soldiers and pilots. The two partner countries also conduct various bilateral military exercises to test the operational preparedness of the two militaries.
