Islamabad, 21 August 2021 (TDI): On Saturday, Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, met with Yue Xiaoyong, China’s new Special Representative for Afghanistan.
Yue Xiaoyong is visiting Pakistan for the first time. During the meeting, both parties expressed their views on the evolving Afghan situation. They underscored the importance of inclusive political settlement and international engagement in Afghanistan. They also decided to collaborate to make Afghanistan and the region more peaceful and prosperous.
