Miami (TDI): After missing more than two months due to an ankle injury, Lionel Messi will return to action for his club Inter Miami on Saturday, Miami coach Gerardo Martino said in a statement.
Martino stated, “Yes, he is fine,” before to Friday’s practice. “He is available, and we will decide his strategy after training.
He is included in the game plans; he trained on Thursday,” the Argentine continued.
On Saturday, the Philadelphia Union will visit Inter Miami, who are leading both the Eastern Conference and the overall standings.
On July 14, while assisting Argentina in defeating Colombia in the Copa America final, Lionel Messi suffered a right ankle injury.
Ever since, he has missed his team’s eight Major League Baseball games as well as his nation’s World Cup qualifying this month.

Though their seeding will depend on how they complete the regular season, which ends on October 19, Inter has already secured its spot in the MLS Cup playoffs.
The MLS Cup is held on December 7th, and the playoffs start the following week.
Robert Taylor, a winger for Miami who is Finnish, agreed that Messi’s return to training had revived the entire team.
Because he’s back in the gym and hopefully ready to play soon, he gives us even more confidence in ourselves, as Taylor stated to the Miami Herald.
His leadership qualities are abundant. It’s incredible to witness how competitive he is in his training, Taylor said.
Whether its football tennis, rondos, small-sided games, or anything else we do in training, he just wants to win. To attempt to reach that level is encouraged by it, he continued.

The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner is unlikely to face any long-term effects from the injury, according to Taylor.
“For anyone, two months is a long time, yet he’s the best player around. Thus, I doubt we’ll witness a much altered Messi from what we’ve witnessed previously,” he added.
