Khartoum, 7 September 2021(TDI): Chinese ambassador to Sudan, Ma Xinmin at a high-level workshop on natural resources in Great Lake Region remarked about the developmental progress of the natural resources in the North-Africa. He called for joint efforts with the transitional government of Sudan to help tackle the regional problems regarding the utilization and exploitation of the natural resources in the Great Lakes region.
This region accounts for abundant resources and exhibits great potential for development.
His highness said that China is determined to help develop stability in the region and actively looks after the hot issues arising at UNSC regarding the region and promises heavy investments into the regional infrastructure construction.
He thanked Sudan’s transitional government for taking a keen interest in the matters related to development in the region and ensured continued support to cooperate in the future.
