Dushanbe, 17 September 2021 (TDI): President Xi Jinping of China virtually addressed the 20th SCO Summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. In his address President Xi stressed the establishment of an integrated community to promote peace and stability for a prosperous and shared future. He explored the significance of the Shanghai Cooperation organization in building a new international order pragmatically and looked forward to the continuation of the process.
Xi appreciated President Emomali’s efforts to bring about this high-level event brilliantly and welcomed the new Saudia Arabia, Qatar, and UAE as new dialogue partners. He also extended congratulations to Iran as a new full member. The Chinese president called on for collective security and harmony among the SCO member states.
He urged the member states of the organization to help drive afghan transition smoothly and develop the state to encourage sustainability and a better future for the war-torn state.
