Dushanbe, 7 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister of Canada, Marc Garneau.
Both parties shed light on the political, security, economic, social, and humanitarian aspects. They discussed the problems that the bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Canada face today. They also exchanged their thoughts on the ongoing turmoil in Afghanistan. Both parties expressed readiness to expand and strengthen their cooperation in an international and regional capacity.
Tajikistan’s relationship with Canada is growing through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) projects in agriculture, health care, and education.
