Lebanese Foreign Minister welcomes his Cypriot counterpart

Beirut, 7 October 2021 (TDI): Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bohabib met with the Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Nicos Kristodulides. The two discussed bilateral relations.

The Lebanese foreign minister stressed bilateral ties between the two states and the need to enhance them. He appreciated Cyprus’ help after the explosion at the Beirut harbor. The Cypriot foreign minister on his part emphasized the need to deepen the relations in various fields. He welcomed the formulation of the new government. Nicos Kristodulides also invited Bohabib to the Summit that is going to be held in Nicosia.

Greece, Cyprus, and Lebanon will be participating in the summit. The two also held a news conference in the wake of the diplomatic meeting.
