Palestinian Ambassador condoles Pakistani Prime Minister on Earthquake

Islamabad, 7 October 2021 (TDI): Ahmed Ameen, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan sent a consolatory message to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The condolences were expressed on the occasion of today’s earthquake and the subsequent casualties.

He expressed heartfelt sympathy and sent prayers for the affectees of the earthquake. The earthquake struck Harnai, Baluchistan in the early hours today. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.9 with a shallow depth of 9 km. Harnai is at a distance of 97 km from the capital city of Baluchistan, Quetta.

So far twenty casualties and a hundred injuries have been reported. The main affectees of the quake have been women and children. Many buildings and mud houses also collapsed. Authorities are assiduously working to offer relief and rescues.
