Lebanese and Danish officials discuss country’s situation

Beirut, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Najla Riachy, the Lebanese Minister of State for Administrative Development Affairs met with Merit Johl, the Ambassador of Denmark. The meeting was held in the ministry.

The Lebanese Minister discussed the challenges faced by the ministry. She highlighted the projects that were affected because of the pandemic. The economic conditions of the country have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to that, she also discussed issues pertaining to administrative development and digital transformation along with the implementation plan.

The Ambassador of Denmark, however, deliberated upon ventures taken up by the Danish government in Lebanon, most notably the humanitarian projects. She laid specific emphasis on the programs that help the Lebanese people considering the prevalent crisis rampant in the country.
