Kenya Safari
Kenya’s wildlife has much to offer. Thrilling Safari experience must be a part of the to-do list in Kenya as it is a heaven for those who love adventure and wildlife. The country offers different types of Safari experiences.
One option is walking safaris and bush walks. This is probably the best way to explore the wildlife of Kenya. With walking safaris, one can see wild animals in a wildlife conservation area. Nevertheless, almost all national parks in Kenya restrict such activity, except the Hells Gate National Park.
However, some private conservancies may allow it. Walking safaris are generally guided tours where a local Maasai enriches the experience. The best time for walking safaris is early morning or late afternoons. The weather is temperate at this time and one can also encounter elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and cheetahs during the walk.
Another explorable option in terms of Safari is the hot air balloon safari in Masai Mara or Amboseli National Park. The hot air balloons fly over the savannah grasslands and a variety of Kenya’s wildlife can be spotted during the ride. The time for this adventure is the break of the dawn as the balloons take off at that time.
The flight is an hour long. The basket sizes vary, and a maximum of 16 passengers are allowed per balloon. The cost for this ride ranges from 415-495 USD for Masai Mara and 415-450 USD for the Amboseli National Park.

Birds like pelicans, giant kingfishers, pied avocet, and flamingoes can also be seen.
The rate for an hour-long boat safari ride varies from 25-30 USD per individual. The capacity of the boat is six to 20 persons usually. Life vests and an experienced local guide are available, however, Lake Naivasha can get rough in the late afternoon to evening, so the best time is 7-11 am or 2-4 pm.
