Nur-Sultan, 5 October 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi met the U.S Ambassador to Kazakhstan, William Moser who is completing his tenure.
Foreign Minister welcomed Ambassador Moser. He was selected as the Ambassador to Kazakhstan on January 2, 2019. He was a dedicated public servant. During his tenure, the bilateral cooperation between the US and Kazakhstan reached to new levels. Earlier this year, Ambassador Moser held a press conference to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the U.S and Kazakhstan.
Over the past 30 years, U.S has invested more than $35 billion in the oil sector of Kazakhstan’s economy. Agriculture was a new field for economic partnership between the two countries. The U.S Embassy also supported the local programs aimed at educating and developing the professional skills of Kazakh journalists, healthcare workers, and others. The Embassy also played a vital role in the development of Kazakh-language media.
Foreign Minister thanked Ambassador Moser for his services. He hoped that bilateral cooperation between Washington and Nur sultan strengthen in the future. He wished him the best for his future endeavors.
