Iranian FM met with EU’s External Action Service

Tehran, 7 August 2021 (TDI): Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held a meeting in Tehran with Enrique Mora, the Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service for political affairs.

Enrique Mora as the EU’s special envoy is in Tehran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s newly elected President, Ebrahim Raisi.

During the conversation, both officials expressed their views on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and the problems developed during the implementation process due to the violations of commitments by the US.

Foreign Minister Zarif also lauded Josep Borrell, the Secretary-General of European External Action Service for his efforts.
