Côte D’Ivoire, 7 August 2021 (TDI): August 7 marked as the Independence Day or National day of Côte d’Ivoire. This day is observed to celebrate Côte D’Ivoire and commemorates the country’s independence from France in 1960.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, has conveyed the warmest congratulations to the people and government of Côte D’Ivoire on the occasion of their independence through Twitter.

Côte D’Ivoire is located on the south coast of West Africa. Abidjan is the de facto capital whereas, the administrative capital designate is Yamoussoukro since 1983. The National flag consists of three vertical stripes of orange-white-green. During the colonial age, Côte D’Ivoire became a part of the French colony in 1908 but gained its complete independence in 1960.
