Moscow, 29 October 2021 (TDI): Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov, held discussions with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani.
The different sides talked about issues of shared interests, requiring an extension of participation and finding ways of opening new roads to organize on various common, local, and foreign relations.
Bagheri Kani will hold discussions with another Russian partner Sergei Ryabkov on a new round of talks in Vienna, Austria. They will address the relations between the United States and Iran as well as the Iranian Nuclear Program.
Upon his appearance, the Iranian ambassador said that as per a new understanding among Iran and the P4+1 meeting of nations (Britain, France, Russia, China in addition to Germany), Iranian agents are booked to hold joint conversations with the four states; thus, the primary joint meeting will be held among Russia and Iran.
He specified that the new round of talks will take place simply determined to lift the illegal US sanctions. The Iranian delegate also referred to the support made by Russia and China for the exchanges arranged by results on the restoration of the 2015 agreement.
The Iranian authority in his first outing as representative Foreign Minister to Moscow said that he would examine different issues of common interests.
