Tehran, 13 August 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, the Spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh expressed his solidarity with the Algerian people following the wildfires in the country.
Khatibzadeh conveyed Iran’s support to the people and government of Algeria. He further wished speedy recovery for the ones who have been injured.
For the last 3 days, massive wildfires have been raging in northern Algeria causing approximately 65 deaths, destroying massive property, and displacing countless people as a result of the record temperatures noted in Europe this year.
