Islamabad, 20 September 2021 (TDI): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan will virtually attend the 76th session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday. The United Nations General Assembly session is beginning from Friday in New York.
The policy address of Imran Khan will provide Pakistan with diplomatic communications and will enhance engagements with international partners. During the session, Imran Khan will draw world’s attention towards violations of human rights by India in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Imran Khan will also shed light on different imperatives or policies to bring peace and stability in Afghanistan.
The need to combat islamophobia will also be highlighted by Imran Khan during the session of United Nations General Assembly.
”Pakistan has played an important and proactive role in framework of United Nation. It has also supported the United Nations organization in addressing region, international and contemporary issues”, said Asim Iftikhar, Spokesperson Foreign Office Pakistan.
