Lahore, 23 June 2022 (TDI): Huawei along with its Tier-1 partner CMC reached a significant milestone after establishing a Tier-3 Data Center facility. The facility has been established in the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Government of Pakistan.

This Data Center is state-of-the-art and has been operational since the formal inauguration that was held on Sunday. It was officially inaugurated by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Mufti Abdul Shakoor.

Likewise, it will also provide access to the properties under the supervision of the board for monitoring, safeguarding, maintaining, and earning revenue in the future.

Whilst addressing the media, Mufti Abdul Shakoor expressed that the nascent Data Center will have the potential to maintain all the ETPB lands and properties, as well as the record of leased land, along with profits calculations.

Along these lines, he further enunciated that the objective of the Ministry for Religious Affairs is to reduce difficulties faced by the minorities via relentless monitoring of evacuee lands through digitalization.

Moreover, the Federal Minister opined that digitalization was paramount for swift development, in the contemporary world. He also appreciated Huawei and the ETPB for the joint venture.

Lastly, Minister Mufti Abdul Shakoor asserted that the whole department will transition to modern technology through digitalization.

Habib ur Rehman Gillani, the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Board also attended the event. Aside from him other Government officials, as well as the Managing Director of Digital Power Huawei Pakistan, Robin Xing graced the occasion.

In addition, other members from the Huawei and CMC Team were also present at the event. The Data Center will provide automation within the board.
