Haider Ali won Gold Medal in Tokyo Paralympics 2020

Islamabad, 3 September 2021 (TDI): The Government of Pakistan, including the Prime Minister’s office, Foreign Minister, Spokesperson MOFA and Foreign Ministry extends heartfelt congratulations to Pakistani athlete Haider Ali on his gold medal in the Men’s Discus Throw category at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

Haider Ali’s discus throw of 55.26 km made him won the Gold Medal. This victory marks Pakistan’s first-ever Gold Medal in the Paralympics games. Previously, Haider Ali earned two medals in the long jump, silver in Beijing and a bronze in Rio.

The Pakistani nation is proud of Haider Ali for winning the Gold Medal in Tokyo 2020 Paralympics games.
