Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood met Irish Counterpart

New York, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, held meeting with the Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defense, Simon Coveney on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Pakistan and the republic of Ireland share long standing amicable and friendly relation. Shah Mahmood showed a willingness to strengthen the relations between the two countries in areas such as environment, renewable energy, health, trade and investment among others.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood’s meetings with other foreign ministers hold immense importance in order to strengthen bilateral relations as well as to enhance Pakistan’s global reach.
