Foreign Minister of Bahrain meets his Egyptian counterpart


Manama 9 August 2021 (TDI): Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Zayani called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry on Sunday, during the latter’s official visit to Bahrain.

The two dignitaries discussed strong brotherly relations shared by the two states under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. They considered ways to further strengthen bilateral ties in all fields and revised recent political and defense developments in the region.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Arab Affairs, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Tarifi, and members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Bahrain and the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nazih Ali Bahaa El-Din Al-Najari and Egyptian Ambassador in Bahrain, Mohammed Ahmed Shaaban from Egypt.
