Islamabad, 18 August 2021 (TDI): Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan spoke with the Secretary of the United States of America, Antony Blinken on 17 August 2021.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi emphasized the importance of a comprehensive political statement as the best and the only way forward for Afghanstan. He also brought attention to the fact that Pakistan will continue to remain closely engaged with the partners of the United States of America to support a harmonious and secure Afghanistan. The Foreign Minister of Pakistan also mentioned that the continued United States economic association with Afghanistan was of immense importance.
Not only this, but the Foreign Minister of Pakistan also discussed his country’s work to support the removal of personnel and staff of the diplomatic missions, international organizations, and media.
