Islamabad (TDI): The vibrant “EuroVillage” festival was organized by the European Union (EU) in cooperation with the EU member states at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA). Thousands of participants attended the festival, which opened the best opportunity for the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to explore European cultural heritage through music, food, and interactive experiences.
At this event, the European Union Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Riina Kionka, stated, ”We celebrate Europe’s diverse and rich culture to form the foundation of our mutual values and our ties with the world, including Pakistan. Together, we are stronger, and our partnership in development, trade, and political engagement reflects this commitment.”

This sixth-edition festival offered an afternoon of culture, music, and culinary delights. It conducted meaningful activities like information displays from the EU and Member States, live performances, fun games, and various food options. In this regard, festival participants had a chance to interact with Team Europe and learn about the diverse areas of collaboration between the European Union and Pakistan.
Moreover, the EuroVillage also presented the optimistic impact of the EU on Pakistani communities. In addition, participants also explored the development cooperation booths, where beneficiaries shared personal stories illustrating how EU initiatives enrich their lives. Additionally, this particular experience focused the message that the EU and Pakistan are “Stronger Together” through their partnership.

In this sense, the EuroVillage festival was co-assisted by the diplomatic mission of the European Union alongside those of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, and Spain.
