Envoys of Pakistan, China and Russia visited Afghanistan

Kabul, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Envoy Mohammad Sadiq, Russian Envoy Zamir Kabulov, and Chinese Envoy Yue Xiong visited Kabul. Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Afghanistan was also present in the meetings.

They called on Afghan acting Prime Minister, Hassan Akhund. They discussed the matters of inclusive government and stability in Afghanistan.

Mohammad Sadiq called on Afghan Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi. They discussed mutual cooperation including facilitating the movement of people between the two countries.

He also called on Afghan Minister for Information and Culture, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah. They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of culture and information.

The Envoys of Pakistan, China, and Russia also met former President Hamid Karzai and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, who led the High Council for National Reconciliation, as part of an engagement for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
