Natalie Baker conveyed US appreciation for Pakistan’s constructive and positive role in promoting regional peace and facilitating dialogue.
The meeting reflects Pakistan’s broader diplomatic approach of engaging all key stakeholders to prevent further escalation in an already volatile regional environment. Islamabad has consistently advocated for restraint, warning that continued tensions could have wider implications for global energy markets and regional stability.
Observers note that Pakistan’s outreach comes at a time when multiple international actors are also intensifying efforts to preserve the ceasefire and revive dialogue between Washington and Tehran.
