Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on Sunday, during which both leaders discussed recent developments surrounding the Islamabad talks.
During the call, Dar briefed Fidan on the progress of the diplomatic engagement and stressed the need for all parties to uphold their ceasefire commitments to ensure stability.
Fidan appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran, acknowledging its constructive role in easing tensions.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives aimed at sustaining dialogue and promoting peace, not only in the region but also beyond.

In addition, Fidan invited Dar to participate in the upcoming Antalya Diplomacy Forum, scheduled to take place later this month in Turkiye.
They also emphasized the importance of continued coordination among regional stakeholders to maintain momentum in peace efforts and avoid further escalation.
