Moscow/Beijing, 18 October 2021 (TDI): Due to the imposition of a lockdown as a result of Covid-19, the world has increasingly become digitized. Consequently, many world leaders opt for video conferencing for communication.
In that regard, the Chinese Ambassador to Russia, Zhang Hanhui talked to his counterpart, Andrey Denisov, Russian Ambassador to China via video call. The talks were centered on the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
The two contiguous neighbors have a long shared history. Recently the two launched the above-mentioned strategic partnership. It will be based on comprehensive coordination to boost the momentum of prospects. The relationship has considerably flourished under the leadership of Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin.
Russia and China have been collaborating for 72 years. The multi-faceted partnership between the two is continuously improving because of increased cooperation. However, the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic has enhanced the ties between the two.
