Islamabad, 18 October 2021 (TDI): Federal Minister for Science and Technology Syed Shibli Faraz took oath from the office bearers of International Forum for Pakistani Columnists and Anchors (IFPCA).
On the occasion, Muhammad Asif Noor, President, Waqar Fani Mughal, Vice President, Wazir Ali Nusrat, Vice President, Dr. Zainullah Khattak, Chief Organiser, Asghar Hayat, Additional Secretary, Raja Kamran, Secretary Coordination, Suhaib Bin Noor, Secretary Finance, took oath as the office bearers of IFPCA.
IFPCA has been established with leading Pakistani columnists, Anchors, Bloggers, and Vloggers for the promotion of the soft image of Pakistan across the globe. IFPCA is aimed at narrative building to realize the full potentials of journalists for Pakistan. IFPCA is introducing the finest professional practices in the media industry with new innovative technologies, responsible journalism, and empowerment of the anchors and columnists. This will help the media personnel to play a constructive role in developing informed policies on international, regional, and national issues in the best interest of Pakistan and its citizens.
On the occasion, Minister appreciated the efforts of IFPCA to promote the soft image of Pakistan on the global stage. Muhammad Asif Noor, President IFPCA briefed the minister about the aims, objectives, activities, and future course of action with the Minister. He said that through the constructive engagement with the Diplomatic Missions of foreign countries in Pakistan, IFPCA is meant to improve the bilateral relations of the countries with Pakistan through the effective use of this Public Diplomacy.
International Forum for Pakistani Columnists and Anchors (IFPCA)
IFPCA is a Forum of the best and brightest of the media Anchors, Columnists, Bloggers, Vloggers have an objective to develop the finest professional practices. IFPCA is the first such forum in Pakistan that is helping to project a better image of Pakistan among the diplomatic community and has arranged several sessions with Embassies here in Pakistan. IFPCA is working as a bridge between journalists and the diplomatic community. He said that an advisory council will be made in IFPCA that will help to work for the betterment and development of the journalists’ community. Various members of IFPCA also shared their views and shared different options on how to support and build the forum to help the media persons.
